Here is something to cheer you up.
The fresh loaf has arrived in Chichester courtesy of Stacey Cleaver our new Aussie pastry chef. We are not talking about those “bake on site” loaves. Stacey arrived from the kitchen of Limewood Hotel with four little buckets of three year old ferments; Rosemary, Olive, Rye and Sour. Each loaf she makes start with one of these “babies” who she feeds every day with flour and water. We bow to you Queen of the Loaf. So we don’t care if it is not sunny we have been feasting on toast.
